Abstract Deadline
Thanks for your interest in participating in APLX 2019. We are extending the abstract submission deadline to May 31, 2019.
We are also moving the acceptance notice date to June 30, 2019. Thank you for your understanding.
To submit an abstract, please include the following two items in one Word document and send the Word document to ntuteng@gmail.com:
- Your abstract for a paper in 200-300 words
- Author Information Form (please copy & paste the form from the Call for Papers Notice)

When can I register?
The registration typically opens one month before the conference. Presenters and attendees (i.e. people who do not present a paper) will have their separate registration forms. Please check back later.
Is there a registration fee?
While it depends on the funding we can secure, we normally don’t charge anything.

The 2019 Taipei Tech International Conference on Applied Linguistics (APLX 2019), to be hosted by the Department of English at National Taipei University of Technology on October 31- November 1, 2019, will bring together researchers interested in linguistics, language teaching, discourse, SLA, translation and interpretation, bilingual education, cultural studies, and other related fields to report new research findings and exchange innovative ideas. The biennial conference has attracted applied linguists from around the world since 2006. This year, we continue this tradition, hoping to attract a greater number of international researchers and encourage productive exchanges and fruitful interactions among participants.
